Questions we get in the store

Mattress questions for BoxDrop Daytona Beach: Sapphire Sleep, Snap financing, and showroom hours. Serving Volusia County, Ormond Beach, and Port Orange. See what’s on the floor.

What mattress brands do you carry?+

We feature Sapphire Sleep, Ashley, and Steve Silver. Ask what is on the floor this week. Inventory changes with every truck.

Are the mattresses new, and do they have a warranty?+

Yes. Everything is new, still in plastic, and comes with the manufacturer’s warranty. Ask which term applies to the one you pick.

Do you have sizes besides the usual ones?+

Yes. Twin XL and California King are common here, and we will work with you on a non-standard size. Tell us when you call so we can have it ready. Twin 38.5×74.5, Twin XL 38.5×79.5, Full 53.5×74.5, Queen 60×79.5, King 76×79.5, California King 72×83.5.

What types of mattresses do you have?+

Innerspring, pillow top, memory foam, hybrid, and adjustable bases. The short version of each is on the Mattresses page under Mattress types. The real test is lying down on it.

Do you have payment options?+

Financing in this showroom is Snap only: $40 down and 0% interest for 90 days. A checking account and steady income are typical Snap requirements. Snap decides approval. BoxDrop Daytona Beach does not guarantee approval, and this is not a credit offer from the store. Call or text (386) 276-5570 or ask in the showroom. The online application link is not published yet.

Do I need an appointment?+

No. We are open 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, seven days a week. If you need a time outside those hours, call and we can try to schedule it.

How long should a mattress last?+

The Better Sleep Council says replace bedding every 8 to 10 years, sometimes longer if the quality is high. After that, even a good mattress stops giving the support you paid for.

How do I know I need a new one?+

You sleep better somewhere else. It sags or lumps. Flipping or rotating it doesn’t help. It is 5 to 8 years old. You wake up tired or achy.

How deep are mattresses?+

A plain mattress used to be about 7 inches. Pillow tops now run much deeper, up to about 24 inches before the base. Add that to the frame. If climbing in is hard, ask for a shallower set.

How do I take care of it?+

Keep it clean. Don’t let spills or water soak in. Don’t use dry-cleaning fluid — those chemicals can wreck the foams and the cover.

What do I do with the old mattress?+

Ask us about pickup or a trade when you buy. Daytona Beach sanitation and local charities also do special pickup. Don’t leave it at the curb unless they told you to.

What should I think about before I come in?+

Do you sleep hot or cold? Back, side, or stomach? Any apnea, RLS, or pain when you wake up? Do you want coil firmness or foam? Any material allergies? Is this for one person or two? Do you want to sleep flat or propped up?
